Reset Carbon has recently become a training partner to the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) offering workshops on the Higg Index 2.0 and the Environmental Facility Module. A series of full day trainings are scheduled in India, Cambodia, and Indonesia, kicking off with three sessions in India to be held in December 2013.
The target audience for training are suppliers looking to improve their factory sustainability performance and whose brand customers are recognizing the value of the Higg Index as a performance evaluation tool. SAC Higg Index Training is designed to allow participants to secure insights into the real business value of sustainability and technical know-how of the SAC Higg Index 2.0.
As of September 2013, Reset has already offered in-depth Higg Index 1.0 Facility Module support and trainings to more than 15 suppliers across 6 countries. The Higg Index Facilities Module provides an opportunity for many brands to recognize the same system of environmental performance across their supplier base.
